Magnolia Brown was formed in Louisiana in 2007 with Sam Apperson, Leno Binning, Bob Yeager,Scott Patterson and Derek Russell.Since then the core of that group has remained solid with Len Binning, Sam Apperson, Derek Russell and Garrett Brolund. After bass payer Bob Yeager's passing in 2019 the band decided to keep on keeping on in his memory . He was the rock of the band and the Len Binning takes up the bass slack tremendously! The band has been Playing festivals and venues all around Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi.
Magnolia Browns 'Allman Bros' tinged originals and covers ranging from Marvin Gaye to The Beatles to Widspread Panic to Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. You never know what they will play! Interesting arrangements and improvised jams as well as requested fan sets make this band a must see for anyone!
